Salomon Equipe 8 Classic Ski
$225.00
Equipe 8 Classic is one of the favorite high school team race skis for it's universal performance and value. It is quick, light and designed to glide fast in control. The heel toe camber provides easy kick and compression when driving the forefoot, but remains lifted when gliding or standing. This means great grip without drag. With the new G4 ZEOLIT base combined with the Race Universal grinding and Zeolit additive for better wax absorption, you just get a lot of great ski action on the snow.
Fischer Superlite Wax Skis NIS
$259.95
Many of our customers want to feel the sweet glide of a waxable ski but are not looking for a high-test race ski, or the price of a race ski. The Fischer Superlite Classic Wax Ski (needs kick wax applied under foot) is a little more forgiving with a wider side cut for stability, a softer flex needing less force to get kick, and a slightly shorter length for maneuverability. It's a great recreational waxable classic ski alternative that gives you unfettered glide and quiet. BINDINGS NOT INCLUDED.
Salomon RC Classic Ski
$262.50 - $350.00 $350.00 Up to 25% Off
We are really excited about the RC Classic for race and high performance skiing. It shares the features of the hi-end S-LAB Classic line up but provides a smoother, easier, more forgiving kick when engaging the camber. This is due to the D-Carbon Core construction - which also contributes to the ski's light weight and responsiveness. With the G5 World Cup base and grind it's ready for all conditions.
Fischer Superlite Crown EF Skis IFP
$279.95
The new Easy Forward construction and camber of the Superlight Crown EF is just an easy ski to ski. It's light and glides really well. Although it does NOT require a hard driving skier with precision classic technique, this ski is not our first choice for most first time Nordic skiers. But it is a great step forward from the wider, shorter introductory compact ski. We really like this ski...as well as many of our customers. We get a lot of great feedback on this ski! BINDINGS NOT INCLUDED.
Salomon RC Skin Ski
$280.00 - $350.00 $350.00 Up to 20% Off
We really like how the RC Skin skis. It's unlikely that a skin ski is going to ski the same as a waxable ski, but we were impressed with the RC Skin. Ultimately, when the snow conditions are at their extremes (icy, glazed, wet, etc.) the RC Skin is a great alternative without giving up a lot of performance. The glued in (and replaceable) Skingrip inserts provide precise secure grip in variable snow conditions. The Salomon RC model shares many of the features of the hi-end S-LAB Classic line up but provides an easier, more forgiving kick when engaging the camber. This is due to the D-Carbon Core construction - which also contributes to the ski's light weight and responsiveness. With the G5 World Cup base and grind it's ready for all conditions. If you'd like to try a pair we have RC Skin Ski demos available. Just give us a call and reserve a pair - 802-387-5718 - or email info@westhillshop.com.
Fischer Twin Skin Superlite EF Skis

And, with our variable New England snow conditions, this is a great ski to have in your quiver. We are also surprised at how easy the EF (Efficient Forward) camber is to ski with easy kick and easy glide. BINDINGS NOT INCLUDED.
